hey everyone. merry christmas eve! sunday and i are gonna take a little break from blogging, but we should be back in very early january. our internet is getting a little wacky and while our parents try to get it fixed, we're gonna take a break from Fast Times at Panamah High. but we will return with a boatload of awesome gossip and tales from the drama pit!
big happening with Gabe and Alex! so here's how it went; Alex and the rest of the group (Jeremy, Nick, Abel, but not Gabe) were eating lunch at their normal table. then Gabe stumbled over and told the group he was sick. Nick, an avid supporter of "Galex," jokingly suggested Alex should kiss Gabe so he can miss school, too. to the surprise of everyone at the table, Alex said "I do have a science test tomorrow..." and kissed him! whoa! the other kids at the table were throughly shocked, most of all sick little Gabe. we'll have to see if Alex really misses the science test or if he kissed Gabe for nothing. or did he kiss him for more than just getting out of class? i guess we won't know until later! i'll keep you posted!
you all saw my post called "Juniors Only Party?," right? well, i've got more news on that party! it turns out Cassandra and her gang will be inviting us lower grade kids (freshman and sophomores) too! score for us! but there's a catch. looks like it's gonna be an "invitation only" thing. it's the first party of the year, so everyone's hoping to be invited! but people only have "invitation only" parties if they're trying to keep someone (one person or a group) away from their bash. i wonder who Cassandra, Meena, Kelly, and Ophelia want to keep away from the fun. hmm... the plot thickens.
a lot of tv shows and stuff are about brothers. cain and abel (great names right?) are really great brothers. they're both really cute and sweet. cain is kind of a bad boy and abel is a shy little nerd. i've always enjoyed the complex between brothers. especially close brothers. well, i'll predict some brother squabbles this year. their opposite-ness has never come into play, but this year seems to be different. i would love to see some big explosion and then a touchy brother make up. but with the super soap-opera quality of panamah, i'm sure that wish will be granted. oh brothers! sisters are just never as hot as brothers. cain and abel are just waiting for a one tree hill nathan lucas "i love you brother!" moment. and i for one can't wait.

i've noticed that people in Panamah don't really have any attention span. for example, i'll bet when you saw the little penguin i used for this post, you thought "ooh! penguin!" but anyway, first everyone was talking about Andrew and Meena, then it was the masquerade, then it was Amy and Andrew, now it's the party Cassandra and her girls are throwing. makes me wonder what'll catch our attention when the party is over. maybe we'll go back to an older subject or maybe we'll find something new. you never know!
i was thinking about how over the summer some girls like to have flings or after-party hook ups. it seems a little naive. what if one of you wants it to mean something more than a meaningless one night stand. if you have to hook up with someone or have a fling you should make sure that both of you are going for that sort of thing. somebody's feeling are bound to get hurt other wise. i think most girls have considered it, even me! sometimes when your feeling pretty low in self esteem the temptation gets worse but i've never gone through with it. besides, i'm only 15. some people get lucky and through the fling or hook up they find somebody special. but 9 outta 10 times you'll never get that lucky. but every girl wants a guy, even for one night. and that's totally understandable, don't you think?

hey guys. word on the street is Cassandra, Meena, Kelly, and Ophelia are planning a party. but it sounds like a CW-esque party. which means there'll be something your mom would object to. get my drift? so something tells me there will be a select invite list. definitely juniors and seniors only. hmm... it would be fun to crash said party, but i don't have the guts and neither do any of the sophomores and ESPECIALLY the freshman! something tells me this party will bring me something seriously juicy. people do a lot of crazy things when they've had one too many, you know? Andrew and Meena come to mind. they're both juniors, and Meena's one of the one's planning the party! we'll just have to wait and see what happens with that party!
we have a mixpod gadget on our blog with a seemingly random selection of songs. well, helen and i were trying to give our friends theme songs. like a song that we think should play when they walk into a room or something. we only have 6 songs but it's coming along. 'you belong with me' by taylor swift has been dubbed as meena's song. 'dani california' by the red hot chili peppers has been dubbed andrew's song. 'stay beautiful' by the last goodnight has been declared jensen's song. 'homecoming' by hey monday has been declared helen's song. 'love lockdown' by kayne west has been declared jeff's song. 'pon de replay' by rihanna has been declared mia's song. 'keeps gettin' better' by christina aguliera has been dubbed cassandra's song. and 'say it again has been declared amy's song. it'a actually quite fun. i don't know what my theme song would be but i'll keep thinking. and of course i assign songs to situations, friends, or couples. 'better than me' by hinder reminds me of andrew and meena. and people (*cough* chelsie! *cough*) say that 'typical' by tickle me pink reminds them of me and andrew. if you listen to it, you'll get some idea of our relationship. ha ha!

hey guys. Helen. Amy's been acting weird lately. weird enough for me to notice. i overheard her talking to Lindsey and she said "Andrew's been worrying her." hmm. that could mean a number of things. Andrew and Amy have never appeared that close until this year, but now they're like two peas in a pod. hmm... i guess siblings getting along isn't a crime, but it does seem a bit out of the blue. Amy seems like she's about to do something drastic. but only time will tell what she's going to do and when. i'll keep my eye out. ;)

many kids at panamah have a best friend. one that they've had all they're whole lives. someone that they probably remember in pampers. no, not pampers, i was a huggies girl. someone that you've already planned to be your best man or your bride's maid. i've known some people for a long time, but i never really clicked with them. my dad was in a band when he was in high school and through college but they never made it. well, they got to offered to open for someone but they turned it down. he never told me why. but anyway, one of my dad's friends has a daughter my age. molly. we've known each other for a long time but we never saw each other until high school. everyday i'm more and more and more and more jealous of meena. like i said, she has that great deal with andrew. no matter how cute he is, they've always been friends. and always will be as far as i can tell! it's great to have someone like that. i wouldn't know, but the way i see it, it's kinda like having something like meena and andrew if i stay with on of my high school friends until we're old and wrinkly. and another thing, meena, cassandra and kelly. even though they're part of a bigger group, those three are practically inseperable. but then again, i'm pretty sure they've known each other since elementary school. but for me, this is sorta my pursuit of happiness. only i'll call it the pursuit of... always and forever-ness. not nearly as catchy thou...

so i was just thinking that it's a little early for epic meltdowns. but it's true. the early bird catches the spotlight. if you do something first, then you'll be remembered for that. let's use helen's list. meena, christine, andrew, amy. let's say... amy melts down. she was the first one to meltdown, so she'll get the most attention over it. when a few weeks later, meena melts down, everyone will be over the melt down buzz and she won't get as much press. for better or for worse? well it aplies in different places, i guess. but everyone loves the spotlight, weither they admit to it or not. just like when everyone who auditions for a play wants the lead, but they'll tell their friends that want the supporting character. lemme go one by one. amy is my friend and she has a lot of good friends and a really supportive brother (we call him andrew) so i have a feeling she has a good soft place to land. christine. jensen will probably swoop in for the mush. if it's her friends that are pissing her off, why fall on them, rite? meena. meena has to have to best most constant supportive friends, the sweetest brother, and the nicest childhood friend. so i think weither she knows it or not, she's due for a safe landing. andrew. huh. andrew's a hard nut to crack. i have a feeling he won't fall for awhile. andrew's amazingly strong. i think between meena and amy falling, he'll put his broken heart aside. i'm just guessing. it's all about reading people, rite? ;)

hey guys. a lot of kids seem to be falling apart this year. people are struggling to find themselves and are too scared to let other people in. their friends and loved ones try to help, but it seems like no one can be helped. it's a depressing time at panamah... Andrew, Meena, and Amy are all slipping and they can't seem to catch their fall. i guess trying to balance love, life, and the pursuit of happiness is getting a little rough for some people. Christine's on the edge too. she's been fighting with her friends and kind of isolating herself. she won't be happy about those choices when she ends up sitting alone in the cafeteria. Meena and Andrew are so afraid of ruining their precious friendship with their newly found feelings for each other that they're both a little on edge and a little extra sensitive. with all this extra sensitivity something seemingly minor could definitely heat up. the Christine vs. Anastasia battle about Sunday comes to mind. fact is they don't look like they can smooth it over. this could get ugly. stay tuned.
hey guys! i'm totally psyched for the ball! i love getting all dressed up and a masquerade theme is gonna be totally awesome! i feel like a happy little girl! haha! all the girls are gonna look so pretty in their ball gowns! and the boys will look utterly handsome in the tuxes! i can't wait! yay! the student council hasn't actually set a date for it yet, but i'll be good. i hear Belle (one of the sophomores) is going to design and make her own dress! i bet it'll be super pretty! i wanna look really pretty so i stand out at the ball! all the girls in school are so beautiful, it's hard to make an impression. but i'll try my best!
have you ever noticed that some people would die before breaking a promise while other people say "i promise" without really meaning it? i'm not trying to single anyone out, but it seems like some people's word means nothing. i don't know why i'm so introspective today, but i am. take chris for example. he's really honest and he'd do anything to make the people he cares about happy. i don't have an example of someone who doesn't keep promises, but you get the idea. friends always promise to do things with each other, but how often do they "forget" or make "other plans?" i donno why i'm being all depressive today! XD but really. promise is a big word.
people like to know that they're better at something then they're friends, rite? like what? singing! we haven't had a musical in awhile because our drama teacher was on maturnity leave, but i'm starting to wonder if she's ever coming back. while elijah was talking about doing a musical to rekindle interest for when ms. marshall comes back. so i was thinking about the singers in panamah. i sing and so does my friend gabrielle. i think we're pretty good. but meena's really really good. maybe the best singer in panamah. surprised? not at all. there's not that many singers in panamah cassandra and her sister belle both sing and they make a pretty sweet duet. there are like NO singing guys. alex and jeff sing. but you have to get jeff's sister mia to get him to sing one word. but once she got him to sing in one of our musicals in an exclusive part. last week or so, kane coughed up that his brother abel sings and that he's pretty good. but abel's really shy and sweet. we haven't gotten him to sing yet. but if we got jeff to sing, anything is possible. elijah was talking abt doing the little mermaid. it's gonna be messy to see who gets ariel. i think it will be meena because she's really good and really pretty. i'm more holding out to see who gets sabastian. forget "part of your world"! "under the sea" trumps that any day! i'll just have to wait and see i guess...

no use denying the big thing right now - Meena vs. Sunday. the whole school is basically an elongated episode of Gossip Girl. but who's REALLY the queen of Panamah? Sunday, the self-proclaimed and school-wide queen? or is it really Meena, the popular junior? people have started saying that Meena is the actual queen of Panamah and Sunday's just a wannabe. Meena denies being queen and has even said she doesn't WANT to be the queen. everyone seems to have two opinions. a) Meena should be nicer to Sunday because Meena is Sunday's "idol" or b) Sunday's a b****. actually, almost all of the students seem to have BOTH opinions! just the other day, Christine and Anastasia (a girl in her friend group) got in an argument about Sunday. Christine seemed to be airing on opinion b, but Anastasia seemed to have both! she started out by saying Sunday was "one mistake from being dethroned" (making it seem like she felt sorry for her) and that everyone loves gossip and drama, wether they choose to admit it or not (making it seem like she was on Sunday's side). then she took a major turnaround and started saying "Sunday's a b****, just nobody's got the guts to say it." huh?? i'm seriously confused. and i can't say i'm too happy about the whole school swearing out my sister! what do i think? i think the whole school hates Sunday AND Meena! after all, no one seems that thrilled about EITHER of them being "queen." Sunday can get a little catty, but Meena's been being whiney and depressive lately. and out of no where! right now, it looks like Sunday's facing mutiny and Meena's a bipolar. we'll see where this goes...
i think there's a reason for every action. you just hav to be able to read people. so lemme go off of what helen said. andrew and amy. well everyone says that it was andrew who went too far. andrew doesn't let himself get close to people because he's been betrayed by people more than once. so when he can let people in, he lets them in completely. so when he felt like amy wouldn't betray him, he let her in to the very bottom. so he's putting a lot of trust in her. because i'm his friend? no. i can read people. let's explore the back burner. nazuna. all of nazuna's friends are heavy gossipers and have deep crushes. nazuna? quiet, shy, crushless. i'd bet you anything that if she found someone crushless and shy like her, she'd show that she's not so quiet and has an opinion. one more. jensen. meena and andrew are sooooo into each other. chris is andrew's new best friend. meena turns to cassandra or andrew for advice. personality? none! all this being a jerk and having mood swings has nothing to do with him and andrew getting in a fight! he needs a nitch to fit into so he doesn't feel forgotten. helen, i know why your talking abt couples so much, but i won't embarass you like that. ;) just kidding!

Helen here. there's been rumors flying around about brother and sister Andrew and Amy. rumor says they're getting a little close for "sibling love" to cover it. their younger sister Alaina is vouching for them, but some people aren't convinced. they got in a big public fight earlier in the week and some say the patch-up was a little too touchy-feely. personally, i think everyone's just a little too desperate for gossip. i mean, siblings love each other. but not like that. Alaina's in my friend group and i definitely trust what she says. besides, she's the only one who LIVES with them. so i'll be the first one to say it; this rumor is crap! i know Sunday said she's sick of couple gossip, but hey! this is technically sibling gossip! besides, that's where the good stuff is, Miss Queen of Panamah! ;)
i think with all the talk of couples, it's time to talk abt the friends in panamah. there's this group over junior girls that are easily enviable. meena, cassandra, ophelia, nicole, and emily. emily's new. they're all really close and do 16 year old girl stuff. i donno. i'm a sophomore. but i see some tension starting between meena and cassandra. with meena's new romantic interest in andrew, i think plans she makes with cassandra will be set on the back burner. meena has a weird relationship with nicole, too. they're obviously keeping some secret. but it looks like cassandra, phoebe and emily don't know abt it. so what is it? there's definatly a story there. andrew and meena have to be the sweetest and most envidable couple panamah's ever known, but how many friends are they shaking in the making? first cassandra and meena, now andrew and jensen. well jensen is meena's twin brother. if my twin was totally all over my best friend? awkward! jensen's defiantly set off. he got into a major drama tangle with elijah. not as bad as the one between andrew and me earlier in the year but all the same chris had to come in and save elijah who was in the middle of the roast. chris is a super sweet kid. he was the one to save me from andrew. another post, for another time. all the same, i'd totally like to see friends start ruling over couples. you know the cheesy saying, boys are temporary, friends are forever. corny i know, but totally tru <3

posting on couples is obviously a dumb idea for me since yesterday i posted my crush on the internet. but it's something to post on. i may have been wrong about the Christine and Jensen prediction. Christine is having trouble with her friends and may turn to Jensen for some sort of comfort. we'll see what Jensen decides to do about her. also, Elijah and Molly seem to be hitting it off. still (totally ignoring my crush on him!) the relationship doesn't seem to be going anywhere. they're both too chicken to admit their feelings. looks like my chance to swoop in! ;) haha just kidding! Elijah's a good guy and i'm a bit of a nobody, so... you know how it goes. but enough of this whiney angst! i'm supposed to be bringing you the couple news! andrew and meena, the hot topic of the school, seem to be backing off a little. they must know the word is spreading about them. too little too late, guys! as much as the school is firing at them, i'd really like to see them together. like i said yesterday, andrew needs meena and meena needs him. we'll see what happens. talk to you tomorrow!
rumors hav been flying around school about best friends gabe and alex. rumor? that they're gay, and crushing on the other one. they would be the only gay couple in panamah high school. concern? is panamah ready for a gay couple. i'm pretty positive we don't hav any homophobics in the school but it'd be a change from all the picture pretty perfect girls and the pretty boys. don't get me wrong, i'm one of those picture pretty perfect girls but that's not the point! gabe and alex haven't come out or actually been proven to be gay but people seem to hav a feeling about it. i've been gossiping about hedrosexual couples for so long, the topic is even kind of new and strange to me. i didn't want to open that can of worms but it was eventual so it had to be done. why not be the one to do it, rite?

hey everyone! in case you haven't noticed, Sunday posted a playist on the blog. it's pretty cool, right? we're trying to fill it up with songs we think suits the kids in our school. it's kinda small right now, but we're working on it!
oh my gosh! i'm super duper excited about the masquerade! it's gonna be a whole lot of fun! and i totally agree with Sunday. if something romantic doesn't happen with Meena and Andrew in the next few weeks (maybe even days!), i'll be really shocked! Jensen's relationship with both of them is definitely gonna get wacky with their rising level of romance. personally, i think they'd be super cute together. Meena's always been there for Andrew and Andrew really needs her. but something is DEFINITELY gonna happen at the masquerade worthy of note. i'll keep my eyes open. i've got my eye on Christine and Jensen. they've been looking a little close lately, but i'm not totally sure Jensen really likes her. Christine's brother, Elijah, is sooo awesome! he's always been nice to me. he's a real sweet heart. i'd like to see him find a deserving girlfriend. like him? me? don't be silly! after all, he's a junior and i'm a freshman.
i just found out panamah is having a masquerade ball! i can't wait! partly for the gossip, partly for my own enjoyment. some of the girls at panamah r a little like girls gone wild. i can't wait to see what they have planned. cassandra is one of them. she's really pretty, i admit, but she's kind of a nightmare! there's another girl, meena, who's totally been flirting with this totally cute guy. another thing, it's her childhood best friend. can u say "more than just friends?" i'm totally on that one! while meena's cute childhood guy friend is andrew. andrew's my friend and former crush. we never went out and i'm pretty sure he never knew. phew! meena is amazingly pretty. i wouldn't be surprised if he's crushing on her too. still crushing on him? me? nah! well meena's brother and andrew's best friend in the whole world are totally linked. they're like the 3 musketeers! but with this new budding romance with andrew and meena, where will jensen fall? andrew and jensen are totally growing apart. this totally has something to do with meena. how is this gonna play out at the ball? who knows! but what i know is meena's 6 feet away from taking my position as the queen and i've gotta get the down on her and andrew asap.
