the sound of music

hey all! helen here! with american idol starting again, i've been thinking about how many kids in school sing. a bunch are pretty good and i wonder if any of them want to take it seriously like, as a life direction. meena, cassandra, belle, and sunday come to mind first. also alex and jeff but they're like the only singing guys in school. i would gladly take music to a life-direction sort of level, but i was NOT born with the gift of a good voice. even though both my parents are really good and sunday can sing. i guess sunday hogged all the singing genes! haha!

Panamah High School Presents...

people like to know that they're better at something then they're friends, rite? like what? singing! we haven't had a musical in awhile because our drama teacher was on maturnity leave, but i'm starting to wonder if she's ever coming back. while elijah was talking about doing a musical to rekindle interest for when ms. marshall comes back. so i was thinking about the singers in panamah. i sing and so does my friend gabrielle. i think we're pretty good. but meena's really really good. maybe the best singer in panamah. surprised? not at all. there's not that many singers in panamah cassandra and her sister belle both sing and they make a pretty sweet duet. there are like NO singing guys. alex and jeff sing. but you have to get jeff's sister mia to get him to sing one word. but once she got him to sing in one of our musicals in an exclusive part. last week or so, kane coughed up that his brother abel sings and that he's pretty good. but abel's really shy and sweet. we haven't gotten him to sing yet. but if we got jeff to sing, anything is possible. elijah was talking abt doing the little mermaid. it's gonna be messy to see who gets ariel. i think it will be meena because she's really good and really pretty. i'm more holding out to see who gets sabastian. forget "part of your world"! "under the sea" trumps that any day! i'll just have to wait and see i guess...
